Pretzel Pecan Pie
3 egg whites
220g caster sugar
120g pecan nuts
1 tsp baking powder
90g pretzels, plus extra to decorate
Whipped cream and Dollar Sweets Chocolate 100’s and 1000’s
Preheat oven to 180ºC. Grease and line a 17.5cm (7”) round baking tin.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
In a blender, combine the pecan nuts, baking powder and pretzels. Blitz until a fine crumb then fold through the meringue until just combined.
Press the mixture into the tin, decorate with extra pretzels if desired, before baking for 30 mins.
Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of Chocolate Dollar Sweets 100’s and 1000’s (contains no artificial colours).
